Where Craft Coffee Meets Craft Whiskey – The Most Extraordinary Cup in Our Collection ☕️🥃🔥✨

Some coffees are simply grown and roasted. This one is crafted. Our Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee begins as a single origin Guatemalan coffee — sourced from one of the world’s most celebrated coffee-growing regions, where volcanic soil, high altitude, and ideal climate produce beans of extraordinary natural sweetness and complexity. But we don’t stop there. Before roasting, the green coffee beans are placed inside authentic Bourbon whiskey barrels and aged for a full 30 days, slowly absorbing the rich, complex flavors locked deep in the charred oak wood — vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and the unmistakable warmth of Bourbon whiskey. Then, and only then, are the beans roasted to order, locking in every layer of flavor at its peak. The result is a cup unlike anything else in specialty coffee: rich, complex, and deeply warming, with a finish that lingers like the last sip of a great whiskey. This is not just coffee. This is an experience.

Aged in Bourbon. Roasted to order. Savored forever. ☕️🥃

Tasting Profile

  • 🥃 Bourbon Warmth — a deep, unmistakable whiskey warmth that infuses every sip with the character of the barrel
  • 🍮 Vanilla & Caramel — the natural sweetness of the Bourbon barrel, absorbed over 30 days of patient aging
  • 🌳 Toasted Oak — the charred oak of the barrel adds a rich, smoky depth that gives the cup its extraordinary complexity
  • 🍫 Dark Chocolate — the natural character of the Guatemalan single origin, amplified and deepened by the barrel aging process
  • Long, Warming Finish — a finish that lingers beautifully, like the last sip of a great Bourbon

The Process

Barrel aging coffee is a rare, time-intensive craft that very few roasters attempt — and even fewer do well. Here’s how we do it:

  • 🌱 Step 1 – Single Origin Selection: We start with single origin green coffee from Guatemala — unroasted beans selected for their natural sweetness, body, and complexity. Single origin means full traceability and a flavor profile that is uniquely Guatemalan.
  • 🥃 Step 2 – Bourbon Barrel Aging: The green beans are loaded into authentic Bourbon whiskey barrels and aged for a full 30 days. During this time, the porous green beans slowly absorb the vanilla, caramel, oak, and whiskey compounds locked in the charred barrel wood. The result is a coffee that carries the soul of the barrel in every bean.
  • 🔥 Step 3 – Roasted to Order: After aging, the beans are roasted to order — never pre-roasted and sitting on a shelf. This ensures that every bag you receive is at its absolute peak of freshness and flavor, with the barrel character fully locked in by the roast.
